District Championships Will Be Held At Sissonville High School, Sissonville, WV

2012 GRADE DIVISIONS
An athlete may participate in a maximum of three (3) grade divisions of the AAU Girls’ Basketball program
for which she can qualify, but only with teams under the same club. Competition in girls’ basketball shall
be determined by the following:
2ND GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 2nd grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 9 on August
31, 2012.
3RD
GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 3rd grade as of
October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2012.
4TH GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2012.
5TH GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2012.
6TH GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2012.
7TH GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2012.
8TH GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2012.
9TH GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 16 on August 31, 2012.
10TH GRADE DIVISION
- An athlete must be in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can
be no older than 17 on August 31, 2012.
11TH GRADE DIVISION - An athlete must be in the 11th grade as of October 1, 2011 and can be no older than 18 on
August 31, 2012.
AGE REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY DOWN A GRADE DIVISION

the Team Entry Fee (For The WV District Tournament) Online To The National AAU Girls Basketball Committee
Team Entry Fee is $225.00 per team entered in the WV District AAU Girls Basketball Championship
Tournament and must be received no later than the entry deadline date.
Teams may pay with a Cashier's Check or Money Order made payable to:

No Personal Checks will be accepted.

District
Championship Rosters
All rosters for District Championships must be submitted online at www.aaugirlsbasketball.org before the deadline date - NO
EXCEPTIONS
All Rosters Must Be Entered Before The Tournament Deadline Date - After
The Deadline Date, Registration Will Be Closed And You Will Not Be Allowed To Participate In The District
Tournament.
Before Entering A Roster Online, Please Make Sure That You Do The Following:
1) Purchase An AAU Club Or You Can Register
Under An Existing AAU Club;
2) Purchase AAU Membership Cards For All
Athletes And Non-Athletes, Making Sure That You Put The AAU Club Code On Each Membership Card;
3) Have Uniform Numbers For All Athletes;
4) Have Grade Information For All Athletes;
5) Have Birth Date Information (mm/dd/yyyy) For All Athletes;
6) Finally, Fill Out The Online Roster And Have It Sent
To The District Tournament For The Age Division In Which You Wish To Participate
